power to VA
bottom two seen rocking as fashion icons on the streets on Richmond, Va. I love a guy who wears whatever he wants. From Nylon.

Chugging coffee. Trying to avoid looking at my bank account. Trying even harder to avoid end of the year sales. Even though there is some stuff I really do need. Really.
Luckily, nothing from Nasty Gal Vintage fits into my budget. Otherwise I'd be in a shopping frenzy.
On the other hand, if you don't pay attention to the news normally, you should really try and pick up a newspaper. Whats happening in Palestine is really awful and its creating tension everywhere. Send them nice thoughts and be aware.
And check out that sunset in the first photo. Sweet.

Hellz Bellz
Pretty. I do very much like that plaid has seeped in social acceptance.
Hellz Bellz holiday 2008 collection.

with a vinyl colored begining
Brooklyn Industries
Several things you should know: The people who began this business are named Lexy Funk and
Vahap Avsar. Now, that alone should be enough for you to love them and anything they do. But they are also pretty awesome artists. They began by making messanger bags out of unused billboards in a warehouse in brooklyn. They moved onto t-shirts and now have a clothing empire. Ok, not an empire, but 9 stores throughout NY and a successful online store is still pretty impressive.
Have a nice Sunday.
A different side of Moss
Poster Boy. Sounds like a superhero.
Rearranges what were probably stupid ads in the first place to make them thought provoking and eye catching. Also, because I'm all about posting an advance, right now I sadly not at my computer researching guerrilla artists, I am actually in an 8 hour drivers improvement class in order to regain my license. Therefore, I am also probably angry, tired and hungover. A kind thought or two would be appreciated.
And if your thinking, " Well, she broke the law, she deserves it." you should know your not getting all you could be out of life if your living it lawfully, I'm proud of being a little speed demon. :)

I like books too...
I've always wanted to live in a library.
Good libraries always feel vaguely magical.
But Dirty Librarian Chains has absolutely nothing to do with libraries. Their expertise lies in the appealing seemingly haphazard concoctions of chains .

Compai
Its funny because one of my friends showed me this site just the other day (I fell in love with it immediately). Of course with my attention span I forgot about it, but, lo and behold I find myself reading the new metro pop and there is an article about these two girls and Compai.
Faith and Justina Blakeney are sisters who have a wonderful green vintage store in Florence and are based in Brooklyn. They specialize in the "rehabilitation of used and abused clothing" and have authored many DIY books. They are like green modern fashionista Martha Stewarts.
I'll admit, I kept clicking the collection link, becuase I am really excited to see their work. It still says New collections coming soon. I'll check it again in another 10 minutes, and keep you informed.
Religious Fashion
No, wait, fashion is a religion.
Instructions: Click Worship Worthy, click the apparel brand and look at fall and holiday '08.

A long dress I may actually wear
from Pencey. A wonderful label I discovered through Kingdom of Style.
Shop Pencey at Shopbop.
If you're where I am, its raining.
If your me, you forget an umbrella and wore long pants.
Pants that trailed behind you on your way to work.
Its a good thing I like rain, or I could be decidedly grumpy at the moment.
Hope your having a wonderful day.
