Men
Dear McCain,
Keep on truckin.
You may have not won, and I may support Obama, but I still appreciate you. :)

...and you smile when you pass.
No caffeine headache today! And I haven't had coffee since yesterday morning. I'm afraid to push it too much longer though.... Picture via Laurent Desgrange. A French Fashion Designer.

Dreamy
Dream and Awake. Not only do they have so of the most intriguing photos that I've seen in a while, but they sell, reworked dresses also. Its like waking up in a wonderful dream.
More PPQ
From the Fashion Spot. This makes me sad my last attempt at bleaching and purpling (now a verb?) didn't go so well. But Rachel Chandler pulls of the look flawlessly. An upcoming photographer in NY, she also has impeccable style that is completely her own.

An ode to the cherry blossom girl. She has a wonderful blog. I thought this picture should be shared, its absolutely adorable. I'm also jealous of the snow.
Hoping it will come here soon. You can see more pictures and the remainder of the post here.
Rio Love. Via The Sartorialist. Personally, the bracelets are what caught my eye. They're sweet and barely noticeable.

Girls Dressing Girlishly
Balloons, cute dresses and chocolate. Well, not real chocolate, I lied. But don't try and blame those trust issues on me, you had those already. Via Fashion Indie.
Or you could head over to Dylan Lauren's cosmetics line at Sephora. (That's right, Ralph's daughter) It's called Dylan's Candy Bar, and they have some great gift ideas. I know everyone says its too early to be thinking about Christmas, but we all are, may as well admit it.

My New Looking Glass
Thanks to Sally Jane Vintage, I have stumbled across the Looking Glass. They have wonderful vintage-y, girlish clothing, which I'm sure Alice would appreciate. Here are some of my favs. If nothing else it looks comfy, and you don't often get fashionable with comfortable. Grab it while you can.

Roald Dahl
Britain's Vogue did a recent photo shoot, shot by Tim Walker. Using Roald Dahl's books as it theme and bringing in Tim Burton, Helena Bonham Carter, Imelda Staunton and Jamie Bell, and musician Lightspeed Champion they were aspiring to recreate Dahl's vision through fashion.
Its got a fairy tale meets reality feel to it.
To see more you should go out and buy the new British Vogue. :)

Purple Passion
I placed an order at GoJane.com recently, I like their shoes and had seen a pair of boots a few weeks back that I fell head-over-?boots? for. I should've bought them back them because, lo and behold, now they don't have them in my size. I pine. Also you shouldn't shop when you're angry. I found myself adding other things to my cart to try and replace the empty spot where the boots should have been. Those beautiful purple frayed Pocahontas boots. Dangerous.
Love
I stumbled across this photo (literally, not via the application) and thought I should share. I think they are the most wonderful couple. (Kate Moss and Jamie Hince) Apparently Kate was caught telling people that she was going to marry him. Don't hold me to that, but could The Kills front man have stolen her heart for good? And can anyone actually piture her in wedding dress? ♥

And so it begins...
I need a winter coat. Thanks to the cold weather I haven't really needed one yet. But (hopefully) I will need one soon.
I was thinking of something along the lines of a pea coat (they have a special place in my heart), however I happened to see this
in Dsquared2's lineup for fall and, I kinda like it. Its got architectural lines to it that make it look almost harsh, yet it still seems comfy. Course I'll probably end up playing it safe (which isn't a bad thing) and going with something more like this
from urban outfitters. Sleek, with girlish buttons, and just long enough to keep you warm even in a little dress. Now, about boots...
