Foley + Corina

I very rarely wear dresses. There is a very important reason behind that. I had forgotten this reason and recalled it the other day. The reason is that I like short, flowey dresses and short flowey dresses don't agree with wind. Wind does agree with construction workers and this reason had my hands clamped down on my dress for a good 20 minute walk and screwed with my day. Damn you cute dresses. We women just need to put dresses i line. Tell them they can't all expect to gain fame the way Marilyn's dress did...
However, not often wearing dresses does not keep me from wanting more. So many more.

Workplace

My main problem with getting an 8 to 5 job recently has been waking up. My body is so in tune with working night shifts and its so hard to change. Hoping to get a real job soon though (fingers crossed!) so I can wear these:

Fall

Leggings have me thinking about fall. Or maybe fall has me thinking about leggings. Every change in seasons has me thinking about the things I haven't done yet. The things I should be doing. I think I'll start now.
And I'll work on getting some jean leggings by fall. Definitely a must. Or a least work on the body you need for jean leggings...

Go Camping

How to look good in the woods:
1) You need boots. More importantly you need lots of socks because face it, boots are hot and feet will sweat.
2) There are no purses allowed in the forest. Its Smokey's rule, not mine. A substitute? This is not your mothers waist pouch.

3) Cute hat to keep your head warm at night. To keep your body warm? Just snuggle up..
(hat)
4) Army bottoms. Pants or shorts.

5) Most importantly: flannel.
The staple of the brawny man.
If its good enough for him, its good enough for me.

Crop

While I appreciate that refinery29 has made a portion for LA. I don't appreciate their most recent post about cropped hair... I mean I have curly hair, I can't crop it!!! I'm kidding, sort of. I'e always wanted to cut off my hair in the summer, and sometimes I have, but its never turned out well. Maybe when I get out and its thins out a little..

(french connection)
I found these shoes in Wasteland about a week ago. Damn having to pay rent! They were even in my size which never happens in vintage shops. I mean NEVER. Why do they only carry size 6 or 10. I don't know anyone who is a 6 or 10. Off to work. Again. Wooo. Happy Friday everyone!

3 rooms later

I just realized I haven't posted in about 8 months. Since my move into the loft downtown really. The artsy hell hole with no windows or internet...or kitchen for the first 3 months. Then my boyfriends place for a month and now here! Los Feliz my own room, living room space out back and a cat!

I've only run into one problem so far.  Although I moved most of my stuff in on March 1 and 2nd, had my bed set up within the week, I haven't been able to sleep here yet.  Or really I just haven't been able to sleep alone yet. I've tried. I've planned on spending the night here by myself, gotten pj's on and brushed my teeth, tried to go sleep, but always around 2 or 3 I'll text him to see if he's still awake (he always is) and head over, which happens to be about 5 blocks away. Barely even 5 blocks. I know this is a problem, its not healthy, right? I vaguely feel like I'm using him for a good night sleep. But I just can't get to sleep if I can't roll over any bury my head in his chest every now and then.

Help??

I might just need to go through a couple sleepless nights, I guess. Or maybe this isn't even a problem and I'm blowing it out of proportion?
